The desired candidate must possess strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.)REPORTS TO: Maintenance Mechanical SupervisorHourly Rate: $ 32.30PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs maintenance activities in a timely manner to ensure continuous operationsPerforms equipment repairs, routine PM activities, and equipment modificationsUnderstands basic function and operation of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical equipmentUnderstands shaft alignment principlesUnderstands how to use basic hand toolsUnderstands how to drill and tap various metalsReads and interprets mechanical drawingsUnderstands basic lubrication principlesOperates forklifts, aerial lifts, and overhead hoistsPossesses fundamental understanding of rigging and lifting equipmentMaintains area housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace and follows all safety regulations and policiesInteracts with other mechanics to share maintenance knowledgeMust be willing to work in all areas of the plant and in various environments (heat, cold, heights, confined spaces)Must be willing to work overtime and accept call-in requests when requiredMust be willing to work rotating 4 days on – 4 days off if assigned to rotating shiftAssesses safety conditions and implements preventive or corrective measures to ensure safe work-related activitiesKEY QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or GEDAssociate Degree in an Industrial Maintenance Program, Mechatronics, or an equivalent Maintenance Mechanical Training ProgramMinimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong mechanical maintenance knowledgeOrganization and ability to develop work scopesAbility to troubleshoot to solve problemBasic MS Office and SAP knowledge is a plusProblem Solving AbilityMechanical Aptitude
