Associate Director of Operations

Sunday Capital is a private real estate lender providing 12 to 36 month bridge loans on commercial real estate nationally, with a core focus on multifamily value-add, lease-up and transitional assets. Founded in 2019, the firm operates with a lean, collaborative team based in New York and Los Angeles. POSITION SUMMARY Sunday Capital is seeking an Operations Associate to support the administration of its lending platform and fund. The Operations Associate will work closely with the Director of Operations and serve as a key point of contact across the firm, with a primary focus on the loan lifecycle. The role requires strong organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and follow-through. This is an in-office role based in New York. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Loan Operations Support the loan lifecycle from closing through payoff, including onboarding, ongoing administration and loan wind-down Track key loan dates, deadlines and deliverables, and follow up on outstanding items Serve as a point of contact for borrowers, capital partners and outside vendors Prepare loan-level updates, reports and materials as needed Work across internal teams to keep transactions and tasks moving forward Business Operations Build and improve internal processes, workflows and systems to support efficiency and growth Implement operational best practices as the firm scales Support office and team administration, including direct support to the firm's partners Assist with special projects as priorities evolve QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree required 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in real estate or financial services Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) and comfort learning new systems Clear, polished communicator who works effectively with borrowers, capital partners and vendors High degree of professionalism, discretion and sound judgment Proactive and resourceful, comfortable operating independently within a small, fast-paced team COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Full-time, in office in Hudson Square, New York, NY Base salary plus a discretionary annual bonus tied to performance Health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) and PTO #J-18808-Ljbffr Sunday Capital
