As an Allied Universal officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with responsibilities that may include mobile patrols, routine site observations, and responsive support. Pay Rate: $20.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and communicating observed concerns to site contacts.
• Monitor access points, observe daily activity, and support orderly operations during opening, closing, deliveries, and/or high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
