LCSW/LCPC-Child and Adolescent, Full-Time

Are you ready to challenge the expected to deliver the extraordinary?The LCPC/LCSW is responsible for providing support and guidance to enable their patient to address any personal challenges that they may face. The LCPC/LCSW will conduct initial assessments of the patients' situation to determine the individual needs and goals of any desired therapy outcomes. Analysis of assessment data will result in the development and implementation of a care plan that is relevant to the needs and goals of the patient.The Journeys and Adventures that AwaitPsychotherapyEvaluate and diagnose patients' psychological concerns and issues according to DSM5.Meet with patients on a regular basis to talk about any problems, feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.Help patient find a solution to their problems through exploration of thought patterns, behaviors, past experiences, and other influences.Plans and implements individualized formulation-driven empirically validated psychological interventions.Communicate complex/sensitive information to patients and or families if needed.Refer patients to other disciplines for consult and evaluations as indicated.Maintains current and active clinical recordsPrepare SOAP notes and documentation timely and accurately.Comply with organizational, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.Document clinically relevant patient data in a timely and accurate manner.Administers self-report scales as needed (IE: PHQ-8 PHQ-9, etc).Provide evidenced based treatment and collaborate with colleaguesAttend supervisions and meetings to stay up to date on clinical best practice.Complete mandatory organizational training as needed.Review relevant literature, synthesize evidence-based materials, and translate complex behavioral health concerns.Act as resource to other disciplines.Provide psychological expertise and education to multidisciplinary teams.Will comply with state licensure requirements.Qualifications-Valid and Current LCPC/LCSW licenseIssued by the state of Illinois, or ability to obtain licensure in the state of IllinoisCPR certifiedMaster's degree in counseling2 years of experience focused on patients in the child and adolescent settingExperience working with clients in individual therapy sessionsExperience working with clients with various mental health needsExperience working in a dynamic multidisciplinary team, preferred.Experience working with clients in a group setting, preferred.Knowledge of current assessment protocolsKnowledge of Care plan developmentKnowledge of mental health disorders/DSM5Excellent listening and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional critical thinking and analysis skillsProficient computer and Microsoft program(s) navigation skillsPositive contributor to organizational cultureAbility to work within a dynamic cultureAble to perform psychosocial assessments and develop and implement viable care plansThe ability to build the trust required to form an effective client/counselor relationship.*****The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $58,000-$87,000, depending upon the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
