Uncle Tetsu Baker Assistant

Baker Assistant Responsible for providing quality service to guests and supporting the Baker and Person in Charge. Responsibilities Perform Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) duties as directed by the Person in Charge. Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks to maintain cleanliness and appearance of the store. Welcome and serve guests. Handle payment at the cash register. Prepare drinks at the Tea Bar. Prepare ingredients for baking, including portioning, weighing, and storing ingredients. Package cakes into boxes. Education and Experience Some high school education. Prefer some operations experience. Food Safety: Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, acquired at applicant's own expense. ADA Statement Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across countertops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot, noise levels are high, storage space is limited, and shelving is high. Employees must work in a fast‑paced environment, have effective verbal communication skills, and adapt to changing priorities and difficult situations.
