Adhere to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards. Demonstrate expertise in limiting patient exposure during imaging procedures. Assess patient needs, exercise care, discretion, and judgment, and act in the best interest of the patient. Collaborate with clinical staff to obtain pertinent information for diagnosis and treatment management. Ensure accurate outpatient coding by assigning appropriate ICD‑10‑CM and/or CPT‑4 codes for mammography procedures. Review medical records comprehensively and leverage all available documentation to code diagnoses and procedures effectively. Resolve coding challenges and address ADT edits, physician queries, and missing documentation. Adhere to industry resources and guidelines to select appropriate diagnoses and procedures accurately. Maintain productivity and quality standards for each mammography procedure. Skills Graduation from an accredited program in Ultrasound or a college‑based two‑year training program with clinical education in an accredited healthcare setting. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, related field preferred. 2–3 years of experience in mammography imaging preferred. Certification in Mammography (ARRT‑M) and CPR certification required. Strong technical competency and proficiency in mammography scanning techniques. Active membership with professional associations related to sonography and mammography. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
