Overview MG Family Internal Medicine in Woodbridge, VA is hiring a full‑time Medical Assistant. A $5,000 sign‑on bonus is offered to eligible candidates. Responsibilities Patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, NP/PA, RN, or LPN. Provide an environment for safety; identify, address, and incorporate principles of safety for patients, visitors, and employees. Provide patient care tasks and procedures and administrative duties (as appropriate). Objectively assess situations, consider alternative courses of action, assist with development of realistic action plans, and evaluate outcomes. Demonstrate skills and knowledge required of medical assistants, effective inter‑departmental interactions, and ability to follow department and system policies, procedures, and practices. Operate productively and efficiently in daily operations, utilizing appropriate resources that are safe, effective, ethical, and fiscally responsible. Qualifications High school diploma. Certification: Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified EMT (EMT‑B), BLS within 90 days of hire.
