High-Risk Obstetric Ultrasound Technologist

The High-Risk Obstetric Ultrasound Technologist performs a variety of high-risk obstetric ultrasound examinations and procedures in compliance with established AIUM protocols. This role requires a strong degree of individual judgment based on clinical circumstances and patient conditions. The technologist will conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic sonography examinations, synthesizing information with the patient's medical history to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-risk obstetric ultrasound examinations as per AIUM protocols.
• Perform clinical assessments and diagnostic procedures, including fetal anatomical surveys and fetal echo exams.
• Utilize patient medical histories to guide imaging and assessments.
• Measure various fetal parameters such as abdominal circumference and nuchal translucency.
• Assist in special procedures including amniocentesis and paracentesis.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support and interpretation services to provide optimal patient care.

Schedule

This is a 1x8.5-hour day shift position, operating from 08:00 to 16:30.

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant ultrasound experience in high-risk obstetrics.
• Valid ARDMS certification, including ARDMS OB/GYN.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
