Compliance Specialist

Position Summary IGC is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support legal, policy, privacy, civil-liberties, records-management, security, and information-protection considerations for analytical activities and technology pilots. The position provides compliance support under program direction; legal determinations and official decisions remain with authorized officials. Responsibilities Assist in identifying policies, regulations, directives, and guidance applicable to pilot and capability activities. Develop and maintain compliance checklists, workflows, documentation, and supporting artifacts. Coordinate with privacy, civil-rights and civil-liberties, security, and records-management officials as directed. Track compliance-related actions, findings, documentation, and corrective-action status. Support compliance risk identification and mitigation planning. Support documentation and safeguards demonstrating the appropriate use of publicly available information and compliance with privacy and civil-liberties requirements. Support compliance with applicable laws, federal policies, and directives governing classified information and Controlled Unclassified Information when applicable. Support readiness for and responses to audits, inspections, and reviews. Contribute to compliance-support packages, including Privacy Threshold Analysis support inputs, artifact updates, and compliance checklists, as directed. Support AI governance documentation and risk-management activities when AI-enabled tools or solutions are used, recommended, or supported under the program. Minimum Qualifications Three or more years of experience supporting compliance, policy, or governance for federal programs. Strong analytical and writing skills. Preferred Qualification Familiarity with federal agency policy environments and related statutes and regulations. Background Investigation and Access Ability to complete applicable federal background-investigation, facility-access, and system-access requirements based on the assigned work. On-site computer access may require completion of the applicable background investigation. Ability to protect sensitive and regulated information and comply with applicable privacy, records-management, security, and safeguarding requirements.
