Based in Mount Laurel, NJ, we are a diverse multi-practice commercial law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The Collections and Foreclosure team is expanding and seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a growing team handling sophisticated collection and foreclosure matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned paralegal who values substantive legal work attention to detail and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and generate a full range of collection and foreclosure documents including demand letters notices of intent to foreclose liens complaint packages motions for summary judgment final judgment applications and post-judgment enforcement documents with accuracy and efficiency
• Communicate professionally with delinquent owners via phone email and written correspondence while processing payments and preparing balance due letters payoff letters and estoppels
• Calendar motion return dates coordinate hearing folders for attorneys and prepare monthly status reports while maintaining ongoing client communication regarding file status
• Support bank actions by pulling mortgage and satisfaction searches preparing answers and affirmative defenses and monitoring the status of lender actions

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of paralegal or legal support experience in collections foreclosure or related litigation practice preferred
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and Outlook as well as case management software with strong attention to detail and deadline-driven work ethic
