Then this position is for you! Oyster River Cooperative School District is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Special Ed Paraeducators. This is a full-time position at 6.5 hours per day, 32.5 hours per week. Benefits associated with the Paraeducator positions are:
- Competitive 14-step wage scale, starting at $17.61 for those with no experience, to $25.92 for those with 13+ years of experience.
- Additional $.50 per hour for an AA, and $1 per hour for BA and higher, in a related area
- Additional $2 per hour if assigned to a student with personal care needs.
- A single medical benefit
- Two levels of medical to choose from; one plan is 100% paid, and the other $50 per month.
- Two levels of dental are offered as well.
- A 10k life insurance plan is included at no cost.
- Ten paid sick days and eight paid holidays.
