Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides specialized radiologic imaging services, including X-Ray procedures, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Responsible for operating imaging equipment, capturing quality images, and ensuring patient safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-Ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate and optimize imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
• Monitor patient condition and provide patient care and communication before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, including case data and billing information.
• Adhere to safety standards and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and prevent radiation exposure.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential required; if eligible, credential within six months of hire.
• Valid unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technology license required; new graduates must obtain temporary license upon hire and permanent license within six months.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required upon hire.
• At least one year of experience or training in a radiology or cath lab setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
