Salary: $99,431.03 - 113,635.46 per year Requirements:
- We require a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- We require at least 7 years of experience in civil engineering, water/wastewater, or utility engineering.
- We require a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- We value hands-on experience with water and wastewater pipeline design and utility relocation/coordination.
- Experience working with NCDOT or municipal infrastructure is preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and/or OpenRoads is preferred.
- We design and coordinate water and wastewater utility relocations and related improvements.
- We identify utility conflicts and develop practical relocation strategies in partnership with roadway, drainage, and other civil teams.
- We prepare utility plans, profiles, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting technical documents.
- We coordinate with NCDOT, municipalities, utility owners, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- We review survey and SUE data and help resolve utility conflicts throughout design and construction.
- We assist with permitting, easements, right-of-way matters, and construction-phase coordination.
