Job TitlePhysicianDutiesMajor duties of this position include but are not limited to:Manage a patient panel for both inpatient and outpatient care, utilizing technology such as telemedicine to deliver comprehensive services.Participation in patient care using technology such as telemedicine, continuous improvement activities, and JCAHO compliance.Provide a full range of services, including the assessment and care of acute and chronic patients with Spinal Cord Injuries or Disorders (SCI/D).Participate in team meeting and treatment planning conferences, collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance coordinated patient care.Ensures that the practice of medicine is consistent with Joint Commission, VA policies and procedures, clinical practice guidelines, VISN standards, national statutes and regulations, medical record documentation, mandatory continuing education, and HIPAA policies.Engage in continuous improvement activities to maintain high standards of patient care and outcomes, aligned with the goals of the SCI/D Care Line.Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief of Spinal Cord Injury.Salary is determined by a Physician's Compensation panel and approved by the Medical Center Director.Position includes rotating weekend and holiday call amongst three physicians.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
