Can you remain on your feet and perform repetitive packaging tasks at a steady production pace? Are you comfortable working in cool, dry production rooms where powder may be present and following all PPE, clothing and grooming requirements? Are you willing to complete a pre-employment 10-panel drug screen and background check? JOB DESCRIPTION Focus People is hiring a Packaging Line Operator for a dietary supplement manufacturer in the Alpharetta/Roswell area. This entry-level, temp-to-hire position is for someone dependable who can learn quickly and keep pace in a team production environment. PAY AND SCHEDULE $17.00 per hour Monday through Thursday, 5:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, 5:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 45-minute unpaid lunch Occasional additional time may be requested RESPONSIBILITIES Rotate among basic line assignments such as applying neck bands, cleaning containers, packing, bagging, counting and preparing kits Inspect labels, seals and finished products for visible quality issues Keep the work area clean and follow safety, quality, GMP and production procedures Maintain the speed needed to keep the line moving and support coworkers during rotations QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Dependable attendance and reliable transportation for a very early schedule Ability to stand for most of the shift and complete repetitive hand and arm movements Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written, visual and verbal instructions Manufacturing or packaging experience is helpful but not required Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but Spanish-only candidates are welcome Required PPE is provided Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required Jewelry, makeup and acrylic or artificial nails are not permitted Focus People is an equal opportunity employer.
