Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT CT/R certification and 18 months of experience for a 13-week night shift assignment. Requirements ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required BLS certification required (AHA or RQI accepted) Indiana or Compact license required if applicable, and must be in hand prior to start date Minimum of 18 months of experience required Community hospital experience preferred Proficiency in preparation and/or administration of contrast media Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety protocols 2 supervisor references required SSN and DOB required for consideration Responsibilities Work in the CT Tech unit performing imaging across adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and pediatric outpatient settings Perform abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest imaging including studies with and without contrast Special procedures include brain perfusion, vascular CTA, carotid studies, trauma head imaging, and pulmonary/aortic vascular imaging Uses GE and Philips CT equipment along with PACS Cerner charting system used Night shift schedule, 2x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Weekend schedule covering Saturday and Sunday shifts Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals is required for all travelers Responsibilities include performing a wide range of CT imaging studies across multiple patient populations and clinical settings Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the assignment Up to 5 days of non-holiday RTO can be auto-approved; additional time off requires facility approval First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates residing in Indiana are accepted Any current or former IU Health perm or PRN employee must have a 12-month break before applying as a traveler Travelers who have completed 12 months of travel employment within IU Health must take a designated break to reset eligibility, with out-of-state residents requiring a 3-month break and in-state residents requiring a 6-month break before their year mark Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
