Electrical Technician - $33-40/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician III to support electrical, controls, instrumentation, and automation systems within a manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on troubleshooting equipment issues, maintaining reliable production operations, and improving equipment performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience along with exposure to PLCs, controls, motors, drives, instrumentation, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control systems.
Diagnose equipment failures and support production during breakdowns and planned maintenance.
Install, modify, and maintain electrical circuits, motors, drives, sensors, instrumentation, and control systems.
Troubleshoot PLC-based equipment and assist with PLC program uploads/downloads and minor programming changes.
Support robotic and automated manufacturing equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Perform electrical and mechanical calibrations on manufacturing equipment.
Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Partner with maintenance, engineering, production, and operations teams on equipment issues and improvements.
Maintain accurate maintenance and work-order documentation.
Provide technical guidance to other technicians as needed.
Qualifications
8+ years of industrial electrical, maintenance, controls, or automation experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience troubleshooting PLC-based control systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience with industrial motors, drives, sensors, and control equipment.
Preferred Experience
PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Robotics and automated manufacturing systems.
VFDs, servos, and motion control.
Instrumentation and process controls.
Industrial communication networks.
Education
One of the following is preferred:
Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Technical/trade school training in electrical or electronics.
Relevant military technical training.
Equivalent combination of technical training and hands-on experience.

Pay Details: $33.00 to $40.00 per hour
