Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery Department (LDRP model) Registered Nurse position is available in Templeton, California. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for obstetric patients. Candidates are expected to coordinate, manage, and delegate nursing responsibilities while promoting cooperation among the healthcare team. Candidates are required to bring their licensure to the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Templeton, California
• Schedule: Rotating night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a school of nursing; Current RN license in the state of practice; One-year recent acute care RN experience; Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire or transfer, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire or transfer, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course on hire and every two years for experienced nurses. Novice or new to Labor and Delivery RNs will take the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring course during the first 6-8 months of orientation, then the Advanced Fetal Monitoring course every two years.
• Additional Information: The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience. The facility operates under a LDRP model and follows strict vaccination policies including annual requirements.
