Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) - Level III This position is based in a facility equipped to care for critically ill neonates requiring advanced respiratory support and therapeutic cooling. The NICU RN will provide direct nursing care to high-acuity neonatal patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and supporting families through complex medical situations. The role requires an experienced nurse with strong clinical skills in neonatal stabilization, medication administration, and emergency response.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), with at least 3 years of Level III NICU experience, including therapeutic cooling experience. Candidate must be comfortable managing high-acuity and critically ill neonates independently.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience in NICU settings preferred.
• Additional Information: Provide direct care for premature and critically ill neonates requiring advanced respiratory and hemodynamic support. Manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen. Monitor and administer IV medications, blood products, and TPN. Recognize neonatal deterioration and participate in resuscitation and stabilization efforts. Collaborate with the NICU team and provide education and support to families. Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
