ResponsibilitiesPeraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM.  This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. Perform configuration, customization, and routine maintenance of the ServiceNow platform to ensure reliable performance and stabilitySupport the implementation and testing of new modules, applications, and enhancements based on business requirementsAssist in gathering, documenting, and refining technical specifications and workflows in coordination with IT and business stakeholdersApply established best practices for ServiceNow administration, including system security, user access, and data integrityTroubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests related to the ServiceNow platform, escalating complex issues to senior administrators as neededConfigure and maintain core ITSM processes and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), supporting data accuracy and integritySupport system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance activities to keep the platform current and secureCreate and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and proceduresMonitor system performance metrics and report issues and recommendations for improvement to senior administratorsStay current with ServiceNow features and updates relevant to assigned dutiesSupport ServiceNow license management and governance activities (e.g., user, app, API usage, custom tables)QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Min 9 years with HS Diploma, 7 years AS/AA degree, 5 years with BS/BA degree, 3 years with MS/MAA DoD TS/SCI clearance is requiredDoD 8570.01-M IAT IIWorking knowledge of ITSM processes and CMDB administration.Strong technical documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.Ability to implement, test, troubleshoot, and support ServiceNow modules and enhancements.Desired Qualifications:Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 451– Systems Administrator- Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 26.3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, with hands-on experience supporting platform configuration, maintenance, and issue resolutionServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification; additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist) a plusExperience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HAM/SAMExperience with ServiceNow integration tools and APIsExperience with ServiceNow On-Prem instance implementation, management, and troubleshootingKnowledge of database management and SQL (MariaDB)Working knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practicesProficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide/GlideScript) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, AJAX)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detailEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholdersPeraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
