Radiology Technologist

Works closely with Director of Imaging and Radiologist to supervise and perform radiographic examinations. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department and ensures quality and continuity of patient care.

One to five years experience as a staff technologist preferred. ARRT (R) required. BLS Certification following American Heart Association guidelines required (no other cards accepted). Required CRT license required, fluoro permit required within 6 months of employment start date.

Able to maintain a positive professional manner in dealing with many individuals and situations often involving stressful or difficult circumstances. Able to organize and maintain good follow-up. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Good verbal and written communication skills.

This job requires frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching above shoulders, sitting, walking inclines and declines, standing, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive hand motions. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will occasionally pull, lift, transfer, or push a patient side to side, to a sitting position, to a standing position, or laterally. The employee must demonstrate a pull lift of 50 pounds from the floor.
