Physical Therapist (PT)

Position Overview Palm Beach Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. The role will involve helping residents regain strength, mobility, and independence through personalized care plans and hands‑on therapeutic support. Facility: Palm Beach Nursing Center Location: Lake Worth, Florida Shift: Full Time Salary: $55 – $60 per hour Responsibilities Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment goals and physical therapy plans. Implement and document therapeutic interventions focused on gait, ambulation, muscle strength, coordination, endurance, mobility, posture, sensory awareness, balance, and orientation. Design, fit, and provide training on adaptive devices, including orthotics and prosthetics. Select and apply physical modalities suited to each resident’s diagnosis, physical capacity, and mobility needs. Collaborate closely with the rehabilitation team to determine optimal therapy regimens. Instruct residents in mobility activities, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Participate in resident care and staffing meetings, contributing clinical expertise. Supervise supportive personnel to ensure compliance with state and professional standards. Conduct training programs and assist in educating medical, nursing, and rehabilitation staff on physical therapy practices. Manage ordering and maintenance of therapy supplies and equipment, ensuring proper cleanliness and reporting repairs as needed. Requirements Current, unencumbered Florida Physical Therapist license.
