Registered Nurse

Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in our state-of-the-art specialty facility. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to individuals with complex and specialized medical needs, supporting Jefferson Regional’s mission to deliver exceptional, compassionate care to the community. Working within a culture that prioritizes safety, ethical practice, and patient advocacy, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and closely monitor patient responses. You will collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care that improves patient outcomes and supports safe transitions along the continuum of care. As a Registered Nurse at Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital, you will be responsible for accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record, adhering to regulatory standards and hospital policies. You will educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care, promoting understanding, engagement, and self-management. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe environment through diligent infection prevention practices, fall and pressure injury prevention, and active participation in quality and safety initiatives.
