PRN Pharmacist

Position Summary The Pharmacist is responsible for the proper dispensing of all medications filled through ExactCare, ensuring correct and safe supply to the general public, adhering to company policies, and providing clinical consults to patients and health care professionals. Key Responsibilities Ensure clinical accuracy and execution of patient prescriptions. Verify hard copy and digital prescriptions. Communicate with healthcare professionals and answer the doctor call line. Supervise and execute incoming and outgoing prescription transfers. Perform DUR to identify MTM‑eligible patients and initiate clinical interventions with follow‑up. Ensure all legal, privacy, and compliance requirements are met. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD), required. Current Pharmacist license in the State of Ohio. Preferred Experience Prior pharmacist experience, especially in a closed‑door or production pharmacy. Skills & Abilities Team oriented. Strong attention to detail. Organizational skills. Problem‑solving ability. Ability to multi‑task. Excellent communication skills and customer service. Self‑starter with little or no supervision. Passion to help people. Physical/Mental Demands Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the pharmacy for extended periods; frequent use of hands and fingers; occasional lifting of up to 25pounds; visual acuity to read prescription labels, reports, and computer screens accurately; may require bending, reaching, and repetitive motions during production activities.
