Position Overview The Department of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full‑time non‑tenure‑eligible Clinician‑Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor. Clinical Responsibilities Provide clinical service in the Cytopathology Division with an annual volume of 35,000; active fine needle aspiration/core biopsy interventional service. Participate in the Surgical Pathology Division providing subspecialty sign‑out; work closely with Hematopathology and Diagnostic Molecular Pathology. Engage in teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows. Research Duties Faculty are expected to conduct research related to cytopathology and surgical pathology. Qualifications MD or MD/PhD with board certification in AP or AP/CP and board certification/eligible in cytopathology from the American Board of Pathology. Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in Illinois. Desirable: fellowship training in oncologic surgical pathology or a subspecialty area of surgical pathology. Rank and remuneration determined by qualification and experience. Compensation and Benefits Expected base pay range: $250,000–$300,000.
