Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant maintains financial records, prepares financial reports, performs account reconciliations, reviews, and analyzes general ledger transactions, assists other departments, and applies critical thinking to solve dynamic problems. Primary responsibilities: Prepares, analyzes, and reviews financial statements using accounting principles. Calculates and records daily/weekly journal entries. Assists with the budgeting and forecasting of areas of responsibility. Prepares periodic reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) for internal Finance and external SIA purposes. Coordinates accounting matters with other departments Prepares ad-hoc reports as needed Initiates and performs special projects.
