Description:

• The Technology Support Specialist is responsible for managing the school's technology resources and providing technical support to students, staff, and families.
• This role ensures the effective operation, maintenance, and utilization of technology across the school environment to support teaching, learning, and daily administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all school-owned technology devices and equipment.
• Assign, track, and manage devices issued to students and staff.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of SmartBoards and other classroom technology tools.
• Ensure that classroom technology is fully functional, operational, and ready for daily instructional use.
• Provide prompt and effective technical support to students, staff, and families.
• Coordinate device maintenance, warranty services, and repair processes as needed.
• Monitor and support the overall functionality and readiness of technology resources throughout the school.
• Promote and facilitate the effective use of technology to enhance teaching, learning, and operational efficiency.
• The Technology Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring a reliable, user-friendly technology environment that supports the educational mission of the school and meets the technology needs of students, staff, and families.
