CDL A Truck Driver

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an experiences CDL A Driver for a local business. Overnight and Long Haul Must be trustworthy, dependable, and have customer service skills. Qualifications Ability to pass a stringent background test Ability to pass a drug test at time of hire and random throughout employment Attention to detail and ability to fill out and turn in detailed paperwork Must have at least minimum of 2 years CDL driving experience Responsibilities Transport merchandise to customer job sites Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues Plan routes and meet delivery schedules in a timely manner Document and log work/rest periods and ability to keep track of time spent driving and retain fuel/miscellaneous receipts Effectively communicate (cell, text, email) with management/team members, and fleet manager at all times Comply with DOT driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Safely maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents and violations Moffett/forklift experience preferred.
