Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and resident dietary needs.

• Ensure food is prepared and served at proper temperatures and in a sanitary manner.

• Assist with kitchen cleanup and dishwashing as needed.

• Follow all safety and infection control policies.

• Work collaboratively with dietary aides and other team members to ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or institutional setting preferred.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

• Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines.

• Dependable, positive attitude, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• ServSafe certification a plus (or willing to obtain).
