JOB SUMMARYThis role provides advanced engineering and project management leadership in support of natural gas, NGL, Refined Products, and Crude Oil pipeline and facility assets, with a key focus on serving as an Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME). As an Electrical SME, this role is responsible for reviewing and/or performing specialized electrical engineering analyses and studies, which may include motor starting analyses, protection coordination studies, arc flash modeling and labeling, and grounding system design. The role provides expert guidance on industrial motor design and applications; switchgear and motor control center (MCC) design and applications; and electrical system reliability, safety, and maintainability. Work is performed in accordance with applicable industry standards, codes, and best practices, including but not limited to IEEE C57, IEEE 841, IEEE 1584, NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70B/NETA MTS, NFPA 70E, NFPA 497/API 500.The role works closely with operations, construction, commercial, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement, enhance system reliability, mitigate electrical risk, and deliver projects that align with organizational objectives.Job Profile SummaryPerforms specialized engineering and/or project management duties related to one or more functional areas that may include: pipeline system planning and analysis, gathering system operation; gas and liquids measurement, gas analysis, and measurement station design; processing and/or storage facility operation; and/or estimating, designing, and coordinating construction projects.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesDirect, perform, coordinate and/or approve engineering and/or project management activities related to design, procurement, construction, or optimization of company assets including but not limited to:Transmission and/or gathering systems, measurement and regulation facilities, compressor and pump stations and dehydration plantsNGL fractionation, natural gas processing and/or hydrocarbon storage facilitiesConstruction plans and implementationProvide technical and/or engineering assistance on matters including but not limited to:Equipment/system designPipeline sizing and evaluation­Pipeline controlPipeline facility design, construction, operation, and maintenancePolicies and proceduresProcess SafetyDirect, perform and review and/or approve project management activities including but not limited to:Bid proposals and contractsAFE preparation and cost managementManagement of Change (MOC)Material/equipment specifications and selectionConstruction plans and supportCreating and updating schedules / timelinesPreparing project progress and other reportsManaging change ordersReview work by engineers regarding equipment efficiencies, hydraulic calculations, valve and pipe sizing and gas flow analysis.Research, analyze, prepare and/or approve information including but not limited to:Engineering studiesGovernmental rules, regulations, codes, and standardsPipeline and/or measurement system analyses and recommendationsHydrocarbon processing and/or measurement bid proposalsConstruction and/or measurement contractsCost estimatesMaterial specifications/selectionsOversee analysis and evaluation of various pipeline systems and review recommendations for improvements related to capacity, operating costs, and system operation.
