Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery – Kansas

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts. Self-scheduling available with collaborative team coverage approach.

Highlights:

• 26-bed Labor & Delivery unit with comprehensive obstetric services including high-risk labor, C-sections, inductions, and antepartum care
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for high-risk labor and C-sections; 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on magnesium, and postpartum on magnesium; 1:3 for postpartum and outpatients
• Team nursing model with strong collaborative culture and supportive leadership that works alongside staff when needed
• Modern equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN (GE) monitors
• EMR: Meditech and CPN charting systems
• Established OB Hospitalist program providing attending support to residency program and triage nurses

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Kansas or ability to obtain
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN certification required
• Experience circulating C-sections preferred
• High-risk LDR experience preferred
• Proficiency with AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler procedures
