Amoroso Woodridge in Harrisburg is looking for a dedicated, sensitive, nurturing individual to join our dietary team as a full time or part time Cook. Job Duties & Responsibilities :
In this role, you will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals, ensuring they align with planned menus and established portion control standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and recipes.
- Coordinate food production to meet scheduled meal service times.
- Ensure menu items, portion sizes, and plate presentations meet facility standards.
- Adhere to special diet orders and follow standard recipes.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to sanitation regulations.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in dining services, preferably in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar setting.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
