Position Summary: The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning all dishes to ensure that the kitchen has all supplies for service. They help maintain a clean kitchen and keep dish area clutter free by maintaining organized.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Venue: Voltaire answers the call for a theatrical venue that offers Las Vegas a pre-party, headliner concert, and after party. Capping at 1,000 people, it's a venue to come out and lean in. The prevailing theme, Belle de Nuit, or Beauty of the Night, is evocative of veils and mystery, of come-to-play, and dress-to-express.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Washes glassware, pans, and other bar utensils and equipment.
- Transport and clean glassware from floor to ensure bar & staff have enough glassware to serve guests.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of dishwashing machine, as well as proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift.
- Thoroughly set-up the dish room and preforms other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
- Having proper maintenance and usage of dish and cleaning chemicals.
- Must be 21+ years of age or older.
- Candidate must have previous knowledge of food service regulations preferred.
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate must be able to lift and bend up to/more 50 Ibs.
- Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Navigate all areas of the property and move any furniture if needed.
- Maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Stand, walk, stretch, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- Work indoors, exposed to various environmental factors like noise and smoke.
