All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.Duties, Responsibilities & OtherThe Cloud Infrastructure Administrator supports day-to-day operations, reliability, and security of the Microsoft Azure environment, focusing on Azure IaaS, Azure NetApp Files (ANF), Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). This role supports provisioning, configuration, monitoring, incident response, daily operations, and modernization initiatives that include migrating file services into ANF.Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:Azure IaaSCreate/maintain Azure Resource Groups according to established naming, tagging, and environment standards to support ownership and lifecycle clarity.Assist with operational governance activities (tag hygiene, stale resource cleanup, cost/usage visibility).Apply least-privilege access principles using Azure RBAC and standard built-in roles; support periodic access reviews and remediation tasks assigned by security/lead.Support day-to-day Azure networking fundamentals such as VNets/subnets, NSGs, routing, DNS, and secure connectivity troubleshooting in coordination with network/security teams.Azure NetApp Files (ANF) AdministrationAdminister ANF resources including NetApp accounts, capacity pools, and volumes (create, modify, document, and maintain).Perform operational tasks such as resizing, tier/service-level adjustments, and troubleshooting volume access/performance issues.Implement and maintain ANF data protection practices such as snapshots and disaster recovery readiness activities.Azure Virtual Machines (IaaS) and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)Provision and maintain Azure Windows VMs and AVD environments: sizing, disk management, backups, and lifecycle tasks (start/stop, redeploy, deallocate, retire).Support patching/maintenance routines.Resolve common VM/AVD issues (CPU/memory/vGPU, disk latency, connectivity).Support core AVD operational components (host pools/session hosts, scaling, image lifecycle, and operational troubleshooting) as part of day-to-day support.Monitoring, Observability, and Operational ResponseConfigure and monitor Azure services using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights; investigate alerts, document findings, and escalate as needed.Participate in incident response support activities (triage, evidence gathering, containment steps as directed) consistent with IT/security procedures.Contribute to runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation to increase repeatability and reduce operational risk.Collaboration and Customer ServiceWork with internal teams to support initiatives involving Azure-hosted workloads and storage modernization, including file services migration to ANF.Provide timely, clear communication on incidents, service requests, and changes; maintain high-quality ticket notes and post-incident summaries.* - Other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.3–5 years of systems administration experience, including 2+ years administering Microsoft Azure in production environments (IaaS). Demonstrated hands-on experience with Azure IaaS operations (VMs, resource organization, standard operational tooling).Operational disciplines: incident/change management, documentation, and service delivery.Experience with Azure NetApp Files, performance tiers/service levels, snapshots, troubleshooting and replication concepts.Experience supporting Azure VMs and AVD environments.Familiarity with Azure RBAC concepts and standard built-in roles.Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Preferred:Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)NetApp Certified Cloud and Storage Services Engineer Professional (NS0-701)Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
