Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Urology/Nephrology)

Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (12-hour shifts)
Unit: Urology/Nephrology Medical Surgical (25-bed unit)
Average Daily Census: 23 patients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience
• First-time travelers accepted (must have a strong Med-Surg background)
• Active Illinois RN License (required at submission)
• BLS certification required
• Cerner EMR experience required

Required Skills:

• MS/Tele and Medical-Surgical experience
• Telemetry (remote monitoring) and Rapid Response Team experience
• Renal failure and pre/post-hemodialysis management
• Blood product administration
• Central line blood draws
• Peripheral IV care and management
• PICC line management
• IV starts
• Heparin administration
• Chest tube management
• CPAP/BiPAP
• High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Non-invasive airway management
• Oral suctioning
• Oxygen therapy
• Isolation precautions
• Wound care/Wound Vac
