Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado teaching license with Special Education endorsement required
  • Experience supporting K-5 students with mild to moderate special education needs
  • Willingness and ability to support toileting and manage mild/moderate behaviors
  • Collaborative team player and adaptive educator

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide instructional support for a caseload of up to 15 students (shared oversight with a co-teacher)
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, therapists, and families
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with state/district standards
