Richmond-area Class A drivers: OTR lanes that stay east of the Mississippi, home every two weeks, and a paid start if you're new. Finished CDL school and looking for your first real seat? You'll train with a mentor first, paid, then move to full solo pay. The freight rarely crosses the Mississippi, so you stay in familiar country and your miles hold steady. Earnings $1,200 to $1,700 a week, about $62,400 to $88,400 a year $0.55 a mile to start, up $0.01 a year to $0.65 1,900 to 2,300 miles a week $15 per stop after the first Weekly direct deposit The week OTR lanes across the eastern states, drop-and-hook and live freight in the mix. Out about two weeks, then home for your reset. Planned loads, day and night dispatch.
