Customer Service Representative

What The Role Is

The customer service representative position is responsible for providing customer service assistance to customers, mostly through email, and, on occasion, outbound calls. This is a pivotal position for the organization. The customer service representative will help assist our customer base within all markets and in a wide range of areas within the company. We are looking for a self-driven individual with a cool head during problem solving. Along with someone that has learned the right characteristics to show empathy to all our customers. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must reside in the Phoenix metropolitan area to attend mandatory quarterly meetings at the corporate office.

Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Manages online service requests
• Engages in email conversations with customers
• Determines/understands customers' needs with strong objection/response handling.
• Manages customer queries/complaints.
• Explains the services available
• Processes customer refunds, orders and payments.
• Maintains customer database: updates data and makes necessary changes.
• Research and resolve customer disputes
• Matches invoices to customer vouchers/purchase orders/invoices
• Encourages customers to purchase additional products.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Partners with members of other departments to provide support
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Required previous customer service experience
• Preferred call center or customer support ticket system experience
• High School Diploma or GED

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Standard office environment with a hybrid schedule. Must be able to work for extended periods on a computer and handle sensitive data with confidentiality.

Pay Transparency

The hourly range for this role is $17.00 - $17.50. The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on experience.
