Mobile Fleet Technician

What You’ll Do Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair customers’ commercial tractors and trailers. Write detailed work orders while working mobile road calls or in‑yard service calls. Provide quality customer service. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi‑truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components. Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi‑trucks and trailers. Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required. Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires. Check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Test all systems and equipment for performance issues. Ensure trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements. Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report all findings to management. Respond as soon as possible to client queries. Requirements 5+ years of verified experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift 100+ pounds. Basic computer skills for submitting repairs for billing. Ability to follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks. Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders. What Will Help You Stand Out Experience with welding. High school diploma or equivalent, technical school degree. Class A CDL. Own tools.
