Loan Operations Analyst

Job Title: Loan Operations Analyst Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 18 months Pay Rate: $23/HR (W2 Only) Job/Role Description: This role helps support our client's Mortgage Loan Trading and Structured Finance desks within the Global Banking & Markets division. This position will provide support on the acquisition, monitoring, reporting, and disposition/securitization of loans purchased and/or originated from different business platforms. This position will ensure high quality service delivery through responsiveness to internal and external stakeholders, crisis management, and adherence to service levels and risk metrics. Perform service and monitoring support for a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral financing facilities Perform initial investigation and resolution for cash and position discrepancies with agent banks and transfer agents Troubleshoot complex and multifaceted transactions such as large purchases, acquisitions, and securitizations of Residential/Commercial Real Estate/Consumer pools of loans Provide 90% of resolved issues on first touch Perform escalation of complex issues to higher tier support groups, legal, tax, and technology partners based on escalation process when unable to resolve the issue Provide technical and operational support on initiatives supporting warehouse infrastructures Accurately log and document all activities and transactions in applicable tracking systems Identify opportunities for improvement in the monitoring and reporting tools and processes Provide planning and collaboration with Mortgage Loan Trading and Structured Finance teams in New York, London, Bengaluru, and Asia Report key risk indicators (KRIs) and other performance metrics to management Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business, Math, or Accounting Prior experience with a large financial institution, preferably in mortgage banking or a related financial industry Experience with syndicated and bilateral financing facilities Experience with loan trade settlement and complex legal document review Experience with asset-backed portfolios across consumer, student, solar, auto, and residential asset classes a plus Experience with Tableau or BI tools a plus Experience in advanced Excel functions and data analysis Experience with regulatory reporting as it relates to the bank loans industry Well versed in crisis management and root cause analysis techniques Previous experience in vendor and relationship management preferred Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations Highly self-motivated and directed Strong organizational skills Keen attention to detail Strong customer service orientation #J-18808-Ljbffr Strategic Staffing Solutions
