Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients' physical, emotional, and developmental needs to develop personalized treatment plans.

- Collaborate with healthcare teams, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet individual goals.

- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for ongoing support.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California or eligibility for licensure.

- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

- Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably with diverse patient populations.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Flexibility to adapt to different clinical environments and patient needs.

- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Education & Licensure

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)

Experience

• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred (new grads may be considered)
• Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or mental health settings is a plus

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, assessments, and adaptive equipment
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and home programs
