• Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory, or construction-related experience preferred.
• Experience in the door, millwork, construction, or building materials industry is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based purchasing systems.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP software preferred.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing and ordering of doors, hardware, materials, and installation supplies.
• Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure timely product delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and vendor agreements to maintain cost efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and track material usage for ongoing projects.
• Review purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules for accuracy.
• Work closely with project managers, installers, and office staff to support scheduling and project timelines.
• Resolve material shortages, order discrepancies, and delivery issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor documentation.
• Run reports and track purchasing costs, inventory, and vendor performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and operational efficiency.
