General Drt / Radiologic Technologists / RadiographersAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for General DRT / Radiologic Technologists / Radiographers to support the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90073, and potentially at any of its surrounding clinics. General Diagnostic Technologists perform radiography of the entire body. Procedures performed include Cholangiography, Lumbar and Thoracic Myelography, Gastrointestinal Studies, Intravenous Pyelograms, Arteriography, Operative Cholangiography, and Arthrography. Available shift schedules include days, evenings, and nights. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesPerforms radiography of the entire bodyProcedures performed include Cholangiography, Lumbar and Thoracic Myelography, Gastrointestinal Studies, Intravenous Pyelograms, Arteriography, Operative Cholangiography and ArthrographySets up radiographic suites and ensures that sterile supplies, contrast materials, catheters, and other required equipment/supplies are present and availablePrepares and administers contrast material orally, by enema, or under close supervision of radiologists, intravenously but not independently; as required by procedure or patient's condition, monitors vital signs (blood pressure and heart rate) and reports any significant changes to a radiologistLifts, positions, pushes and transfers patients, supplies, and/or equipment as neededPerforms related clerical duties such as sending images to PACS, archiving images, and case editing of computer requests and reportsAs required, maintains records and enters patient information into the computer through the use of the Radiology Veterans Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VISTA) packageQualificationsEnglish language proficiencyARRT(R) certified (required)Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education of Radiologic Technologists (JRCERT) program, and have a minimum of two (2) years of work experienceNote - Student internship and training time spent in a radiology setting does not count toward the two (2) years of experienceExperience with Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS), experience with Agfa PACS is preferred but not requiredAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is requiredNo sponsorship availablePay Range: $43.43 - $60.18 hourlyAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
