Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Hands-On Care: Engage directly with patients to deliver individualized physical therapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and mobility.
  • Help Patients Progress: Monitor patient recovery closely, adapting therapy plans as necessary and providing motivation and support to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  • Patient Education: Clarify each treatment's purpose by explaining exercises and rehabilitation protocols, empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery process.
  • Collaborate with a Fantastic Team: Work closely with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals, contributing to a multidisciplinary team approach that prioritizes patient outcomes.
  • Document with Precision: Meticulously maintain records of patient interactions, therapeutic progress, and treatment outcomes to ensure coordinated care among team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to provide care to diverse patient demographics, including both adults and geriatric populations, all requiring careful attention and customized therapeutic strategies.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in physical therapy or a related field.
  • A valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in California or eligibility to obtain one.
  • A strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
  • An eye for detail to ensure precise implementation of therapy techniques and monitoring of treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

  • A minimum of two years of experience working in a physical therapy setting, specifically within orthopedic or outpatient environments.
  • Additional certifications in specialties such as sports rehabilitation or manual therapy that enhance treatment offerings.
  • Familiarity with rehabilitation software systems to facilitate efficient documentation and tracking of patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $180,000 to $200,000 annually, with opportunities for merit-based raises and productivity bonuses. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance; and malpractice coverage.
