Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Waterbury, CT, working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic to help patients recover from injuries and manage musculoskeletal conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Contract physical therapists will evaluate and treat patients with various orthopedic injuries, communicate treatment plans and evaluations to medical teams, report patient progress to in-house and specialty physicians, and collaborate with center colleagues to identify patient care issues. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA. Current, active Connecticut physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal patients. Experience communicating treatment plans and patient progress to physicians and multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications Previous outpatient orthopedic clinic experience preferred. Experience working with orthopedic surgeons and hand surgeons preferred. Assignment Details Schedule aligns with Monday through Friday clinic operations, typical business hours.
