Family Practice - Without OB Physician

$140 per hour

Position Type: Locum-to-Perm
Specialty: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician
Location: California
Rate: $140/hr on 1099 with Travel, Lodging and Malpractice Coverage
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 3-6 Month Assignment with Permanent Opportunity

Position Details:

Setting: Outpatient Primary Care Clinic

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive primary care services
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Perform preventive care and wellness visits
Prescribe medications, including birth control
Coordinate patient care and referrals as needed

Patient Population:

Primarily Adult & Geriatric Patients

Patient Volume:

Approximately 15-18 Patients Per Day

Procedures:

PAP Smears
Cryotherapy
Punch Biopsies
Simple Wound Care
Joint Injections (Provider Dependent)
Toenail Removal

EMR System:

NextGen

Support Staff:

2 Physicians
2.5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Assignment Details:

Locums-to-Perm Opportunity (Required)
3-6 Month Initial Assignment
Travel & Lodging Covered

Submission Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active California License or IMLC Eligibility
Must Be Interested in Permanent Placement Following Locums Assignment
Primary Care Experience Preferred
