Account Executive (Cartersville/Calhoun)

Guardant Health seeks a field-based Account Executive to promote Shield, a blood-based colorectal cancer screening test, to primary care providers in the Cartersville/Calhoun region. The role combines sales execution with cross-functional collaboration to drive early cancer detection adoption and market expansion.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through prospecting and relationship-building with primary care healthcare providers
- Build provider adoption of Shield colorectal cancer screening test with stakeholder engagement across practice teams
- Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and product teams to align sales strategies and gather market feedback
- Identify territory expansion opportunities and establish phlebotomy draw agreements with regional laboratories
- Monitor competitive landscape and share customer insights with commercial leadership to optimize strategies
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years healthcare sales experience (diagnostics, devices, or pharma) or 2 years healthcare sales plus clinical background (RN/PA)
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling with ability to overcome objections
- Strong CRM proficiency with Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills for complex healthcare topics
- Superior negotiation and customer service skills with relationship-building focus
- Preferred: diagnostic or blood-based testing sales experience to primary care providers
- Preferred: product launch planning and execution experience in healthcare
