4. Customer Service as a Service (CSaaS) (Nice to Have)
5. Spring Boot (Nice to Have) Additional Technical Requirements
• Experience working with:
o Java
o Spring MVC
o JSP
o REST APIs
• Service-driven architecture experience preferred
• No specific database experience required
• Applications utilize a mix of technologies, including MongoDB in newer environments
• Strong troubleshooting and enhancement experience within existing applications
• Must be comfortable supporting and enhancing legacy applications Position Overview
This role supports a critical customer-facing application used by phone bankers for customer and account maintenance. The platform handles approximately 80% of call center volume, making reliability and stability extremely important.
The selected consultant will help:
• Maintain and enhance existing applications
• Deliver business-driven initiatives and new functionality
• Support authentication-related enhancements and requirements
• Work on initiatives related to account management and customer authentication
Current Initiatives
Examples of projects the team is working on include:
• Authentication enhancements
• Customer account access and maintenance improvements
• "Smart Start" initiative involving youth account management and permissions Team Environment
• Team: Customer Information View (CIV)
• Scrum/Agile environment with regular ceremonies
• Team size:
o 4 team members in the U.S.
o 4 team members in India
• Collaborates closely with other engineers across locations Candidate Profile

• Has at least 5 years of Full Stack Java development experience
• Is comfortable working in a legacy technology environment
• Enjoys maintaining and enhancing existing applications, not just building new ones
• Can collaborate effectively with both U.S. and India-based team members
• Understands enterprise-scale, high-volume applications
