MS/Tele Registered Nurse Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3x12 hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) with weekend requirements every other weekend, occasionally every third weekend. Job Description The MS/Tele Registered Nurse will provide care for adult to geriatric patients with various diagnoses including Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Diabetes Mellitus (DM), Orthopedic conditions, Chest Pain (CP), Pneumonia, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The RN will work under the established protocols and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapy. Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition regularly. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care. Manage cardiac drips and titrate insulin as per protocols. Perform wound care and the management of chest tubes. Utilize electronic medical record systems (EPIC) for patient documentation. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
