Dental Assistant

Job Title: Certified Pediatric Dental Assistant (RHS & ICE Required)
Location: Middlebury, CT
Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 / hour
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Tue, Wed, Thu + 1-2 Saturdays/mo)

Schedule & Hours:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM (First patient at 8:30 AM, last at 4:00 PM)
• Saturdays (1–2 per month): 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM (First patient at 8:00 AM, last at 12:20 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Warmly welcome pediatric patients into the operatory and ensure they feel safe and comfortable.
• Chairside Assisting: Assist the dentist utilizing efficient 4-handed dentistry techniques.
• Preparation: Select, organize, and set up all required dental instruments, materials, and equipment.
• Safety & Imaging: Take high-quality, diagnostic digital radiographs.
• Sanitation: Sterilize instruments and sanitize operatories strictly according to infection control regulations.

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable):

• Active Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) certification
• Active Infection Control (ICE) certification
• Experience or a strong passion for working with children

Compensation:

• $23-$30/hour
